Dorothy J. (Szymanowski) Pejza

Dorothy J. Pejza, 47, of 449 S. Edison Ave , died at 5 p m.Thursday in St. Josephs Hospital after a six-week illness She was born Feb 6, 1926, in South Bend and lived here all her life.

On Aug. 24, 1946, as Dorothy Szymanowski, she was married to Eugene B Pejza, who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs Stanley Szymanowski bf South Bend; a son, Kenneth E. at home; three daughters, Mrs. Sharon Kapsa of South Bend, Mrs Rebecca Link, of Pontiac,.Micb and Miss Debra Pejza at home; two grandchildren, a brother, Richard Szymanowski of South Bend; a. stepbrother, Joseph Micheal of South Bend, and two stepsisters, Mrs Dorothy Borlik and Mrs Loretta Klimek, both of South Bend

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p m. Saturday and 2 to 9 p m. Sunday in the Kamewski and Sons Funeral Homcr'Sen'ices - will be at 10 a m Monday m St Casimir Catholic Church, with her uncle, Rev George Szymanowski, CSC, pastor, officiating Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mrs. Pejza was a member of the Home and School Assn.; the Rosary Society of St. Casimir Church; St. Anns Society, of which she was treasurer, Group 129, Polish Womens Alliance of America; Club 53, of which she was secretary, and the Westside Polish Womens Democratic Club.

The Ushers Club, the Married Mens Club, and the Holy Name Society of St Casimir Church will join the parish in a vigil service at 7 30 p m. Sunday in the funeral home
