Virginia L “Ginny” (Kober) Glod

SOUTH BEND, IN -- Virginia L. "Ginny" (Kober) Glod, 76, of Miami Road, passed away following an illness at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, May 25, in Southfield Village. Ginny was born on Oct. 23, 1926, in South Bend, Ind., to the late Dorothy (Newick) and Joseph Paul Kober. On Dec. 26, 1950, in South Bend, she married Eugene R. Glod , who passed away on Nov. 5, 1988.

She worked at ElectroVoice but was a stay-at-home mom after her children were born.

 She was also preceded in death by a son, Eugene R. Glod Jr. on Aug. 28, 1978. Ginny was a former officer and member of the Schoolmen's Wives Club, and a former member of the Nu Phi Mu Sorority.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Bill) Indelicato of Redding, Conn.; two sisters, Winifred Kosik and Geraldine Ulrich, both of South Bend; five grandchildren, Marie Glod , Joshua Glod and Nicole Butler, all of South Bend, Billy and Doug Indelicato of Redding; and by four great-grandchildren.
