Lenore Josephine (Miscewicz) Sikorski

Lenore Sikorski, 79, of South Bend, Ind., died Sunday, Nov.2, in Hospice House of St.Joseph County. She was born March 16, 1924, to Casimir and Eleanore Miscewicz, who preceded her in death. Also preceding in death are a brother, Casimir Miscewicz, and two sisters, Eva Miscewicz and Virginia Cossman.

On Nov.11, 1948, Lenore married Joseph Sikorski, who survives.Also surviving are a daughter, Virginia Lee (Stephen) Manor of Mishawaka, Ind.;two grandchildren, Samantha and Chris Manor, both of Mishawaka;and a sister, Pauline Hoobler of Fort Wayne, Ind.

Lenore was a lifelong resident of South Bend.She was self-employed as a beautician.She belonged to St.Joseph Church, South Bend;was a member of the Hairdresser Association and also a resident of Birch Lake, Vandalia, Mich.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.on Tuesday, Nov.4, in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of St.Joseph County or the American Heart Association
