WILLIAM J. SAGENDORF
July 28, 1955 - April 30, 2013 SOUTH BEND - William J. Sagendorf, 57, of South Bend, IN passed away at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Memorial Hospital as the result of a moped accident. He was born on July 28, 1955 to Alfred J. and Valeria K. (Barker) Sagendorf.
On November 5, 1988 in Lydick, IN, he married the former April Lee Yandl. Mr. Sagendorf is survived by his wife, April L. Sagendorf; daughter, Tanya M. Sagendorf of South Bend, IN; son, Joseph T. (Elley) Sagendorf of South Bend, IN; two grandchildren, Dakotah and Toby; mother, Valeria K. Sagendorf of South Bend, IN; sister, Jacquelyn A. Kendig of Live Oak, Fl and brother, Robert D. (Cheryl) Sagendorf of Lafayette, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred J. Sagendorf on October 26, 2005. Mr. Sagendorf was a lifelong resident.
He was a 1974 graduate of Washington High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy.
Mr. Sagendorf was formerly employed by South Bend Drug. He was a computer and electronic enthusiast.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 1211 W. Ewing Avenue, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Contributions in memory of William J.
