DENNIS J. WANTUCH

OSCEOLA - Dennis J. Wantuch, 50, passed away at 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2010 in his home. Dennis was born on June 16, 1959 in South Bend to the late Frank and Rose (Perry) Wantuch. He was also preceded in death by his Uncle, Lou Perry, Grandmother, Joanna Wantuch, and by his step-daughter, Tracie Lynn Evanoff.

On October 18, 1986 he married Janet, she survives along with his step-son, Kelly Evanoff; three brothers, Don (June) Wantuch, Joe (Tina) Wantuch and John (Sandra) Wantuch; his three sisters, Rose (Joe) Laskowski, Chris Wantuch and Carol (Kenneth) Smith; ten nieces, eight nephews, three great-nephews; and two great-nieces. He is also survived by his special cousins, Terry, Chara, TJ, Amber and Brian; special friends, Sandy and Al, Dennis and Roseanne; and by many Aunts, Uncles and friends.

Dennis was a graduate of Washington High School Class 1977.

He was employed at Big C Lumber for the past 8 years. He has been a member of Moose Lodge 599 for many years. Dennis began his musical career at the age of 14. He currently was playing with his Band the Variety Express along with Kevin Konya and Don Wantuch. He also would help and fill in with his Accordion and vocals with various bands all over the area. He also enjoyed many other hobbies, boating, camping skiing, tubing and spoon plugging. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He did it his way. His greatest love was his accordion, family, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
