MISHAWAKA - Jeffrey W. Lundquist, 49, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 24, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Survivors include his wife, Carol; his son, Eric of Mishawaka; his parents, Gerald and Ardeth Lundquist of South Bend; his sister, Sandra (Wayne) Griffee of South Bend; and his brother, Michael (Karen) Lundquist of Battle Creek, MI. Jeff was born on June 5, 1958, in South Bend.

He graduated from Washington High School, where he met his wife, Carol (Nalepinski) Lundquist. Jeff and Carol married on June 12, 1982, in St. Adalbert Catholic Church and made their home in Mishawaka. 

Jeff was a tradesman with Carpenter's Local Union 413. He completed the Carpenter's Apprenticeship program through Ivy Tech. Jeff was awarded the Golden Hammer Award for his special skills. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, gardening and spending time with his family, friends, and his two dogs. His nieces and nephews adored him. Jeff will be remembered as a loving and kind husband, father, and son.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. For those unable to attend the funeral liturgy, condolences for the family may be sent to www.sjfh.net.
