Roger Homman

Roger Homman

November 5, 1965 ~ May 3, 2024 (age 58)

Roger Homman, born on November 5, 1965, in South Bend, Indiana, left the world as peacefully as he lived, on May 3, 2024, surrounded by the memories of his cherished hometown. Roger walked the earth with a joyful heart, a friend to many, and will be remembered for embodying the spirit of kinship and care.

His career as a paraprofessional at Logan Center was a testament to his unwavering commitment to service, where he left an indelible mark on the community. Roger’s devotion to his work was paralleled only by his love for the Chicago Cubs and Bears, loyal to his teams till the very end.

While the heavens have claimed our innocent rogue, his famous jest “I’m innocent” lingers as a beacon of his jovial legacy. Roger was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James and Helen Homman; his sister, Judy Russell; and his brothers, Jerry, Denny, and Terry Homman. His lasting memory will be cherished by his close friend, Michael Daly, and all those who knew him. Roger’s presence will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit remains an undiminished light in the hearts of all whom he touched.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:30 a.m., May 8, 2024, at Palmer Funeral Homes – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615 with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
