LEE CARR
Lee Carr April 4, 1967 - July 3, 2015 SOUTH BEND - George StanLee Carr, 48, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015, in Memorial Hospital. Lee was born on April 4, 1967, in South Bend, to George and Joy (Platz) Carr.
He had been employed as a Diesel Mechanic at Schilli National Truck Lease and Sales in South Bend.
On May 22, 2010, in South Bend, he married his wife, Linda (Karacson) Carr, who survives. Lee is also survived by one stepson, David (Nikki) Stillson of South Bend, Indiana; two sisters, Becky (Joseph) Papai of South Bend, Indiana, and Susan (Timothy) Lehman of Edwardsburg, Michigan; and three nieces, Ann (Brad) Schramski, Dr. Megan Lehman and Lindsay Lehman.
Lee was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Joy Carr; and his brother, Dean Carr.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 2 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
