MICHAEL A. SOCHOCKI

Michael A. Sochocki, 45, of Jackson Road, North Liberty, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2005, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Michael was born on December 15, 1959, in South Bend, to the late Zygmond and Helen (Rajski) Sochocki and was a lifelong area resident. 

He graduated from Washington High School in 1978.

Mike worked as a truck mechanic and was presently employed with Midwest Logistics.

He is survived by his daughter, Lani Sochocki of South Bend; his girlfriend, Roxanne Stone and her son Jeremiah, of South Bend; six aunts, Dorothy Sochocki, Florence Kujawski, Evelyn Celmer, Lucille Lubelski and Leona Sochocki, all of South Bend and Elsie Sochocki of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and by one uncle, Casimier Sochocki of South Bend.

Mike enjoyed gardening, cooking polish sausage and working on cars.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2005, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. Funeral services for Mike will be held at 12 noon Thursday, September 8, 2005, in the funeral home, with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
