LINDA S. (ALBERT) WICKIZER
Linda S. Wickizer April 9, 1969 - Sept. 28, 2015 MISHAWAKA - Linda S. Wickizer, 46, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She was born on April 9, 1969, in South Bend, IN, to Evan and Carol (Filley) Albert.
On October 7, 1995, in South Bend, IN, she married James C. Wickizer, who survives. Linda is also survived by her mother, Carol Albert of Mishawaka, IN; two sons, Ryan Wickizer and Kyle Wickizer, both at home; two sisters, Kathy (Todd) Allsop of Granger, IN, and Diana (Mark Hinton) Smith of North Liberty, IN; mother-in-law, Nancy Wickizer of South Bend, IN; father-in-law, Gary (Laurie) Wickizer of South Bend, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Evan Albert. Linda was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Washington High School and attended IUSB.
She was employed for over twenty years at Tire Rack in South Bend. She enjoyed NASCAR, camping, riding her Harley, spending time and traveling with her sisters and mother. She loved her family and her many close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Linda S. Wickizer may be offered to an education fund for Ryan and Kyle at Teachers Credit Union. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
