Lisa K. (Horvath) Cinal

SOUTH BEND — Services for Lisa Cinal , 24, of 1218 S. Twyckenham Drive, who died at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct 14, 1989, in Lee Memorial Hospital, Dowagiac, after an illness, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Si John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends May call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist School Lisa Cinal Scholarship Fund.

Mrs. Cinal was a homeroom teacher for the eighth grade and departmental teacher for sixth-seventh-and-eighth-graders at St. John School. She was born Nov. 6, 1964, in South Bend and was a life-long area resident. On Sept. 20, 1986, in South Bend, as Lisa Horvath, she married Greg CinaL He survives, with four sisters, Patricia Durski, Diane Klemczewski, Rebecca Kruzel and Carol Rogers, all of South Bend; a brother, Michael, of South Bend; her parents, Adeline and George Horvath Jr. of South Bend; and paternal grandparents, Margaret and George Horvath of Hesperia, Mich.

She was a graduate of Washington High School, where she was salutatorian, and Indiana University at South Bend, where she graduated summa cum laude.
