Vincent Earl Burkhart, 59, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at West Bend Nursing Home in South Bend.
Vincent was born in South Bend on November 29, 1964 to the late Jesse Earl Burkhart Jr. and Rose Marie (Celmer) Burkhart. On September 17, 1988 he married Doretta E. (McDonald) Burkhart and she preceded him in death on May 2, 2010.
Left to cherish the memories of Vincent are his sisters, Valerie and husband Michael Versmesse of South Bend, Victoria Burkhart of Granger, and Vanessa and Daniel Burkhart-Myers of Oldenburg.
Vincent coached football for Washington High School in South Bend. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
Visitation for Vincent will be 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday, February 29, 2024 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:00 pm all at Holy Family Catholic Church, 56405 Mayflower Road. A private burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend at a later time.
