ERIC W. MCDANIEL

Feb. 2, 1963 - Jan. 10, 2012 MISHAWAKA - Eric W. McDaniel Sr., 48, beloved father, grandfather and brother, passed away at 11:53 a.m. on January 10, 2012, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN. Eric was born February 2, 1963, in South Bend, to Walter and Eurena (Wigfall) McDaniel, who both preceded him in death.

He graduated from Washington High School and worked as a self-employed disc jockey. His passion in life was playing the drums.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include three daughters, Candice (Cordell) of South Bend, Monica McDaniel of Muncie, IN, and Erica Mayfield of Indianapolis, IN; four sons, Eric M. McDaniel of Indianapolis, IN, Turrell A. Barnes, Alonzo (Lisa) McDaniel and Antoine Mayfield, all of South Bend; six grandchildren; one brother, Alfonzo McDaniel of Gary, IN; three special friends, Dave, Theresa and Aaron; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at Alford's Mortuary, with viewing held one hour prior to services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary where messages of condolence may be e-mailed to Alfordsmortuary@att.net, c/o the McDaniel family.
