RICHARD TOPOLSKI OBITUARY

SOUTH BEND - Richard "Rick" Topolski passed on to heaven December 24, 2012 knowing his beloved Fighting Irish are possible National Champs and his daughter Cali is thriving! Rick had a beautiful soul and will be missed greatly. His charm and wit could melt the coldest of hearts. Rick married Carolyn Richardson in April 1997, the same year he welcomed his baby girl, the love of his life.
He worked at Alpha Baking for 32 years, and graduated from Washington High School in 1980.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maria and Tadausz Topolski.
He is survived by his daughter, Cali Michelle; siblings, Helen Burger (Thomas) and Henry Topolski; nephews, Thomas and Mark Burger, Todd and Matt Topolski, and niece, Christina Burger.
Rick loved to bowl, shoot darts, and of course analyze every aspect of ND and Chicago Bears football, from recruiting to the draft! ND has probably lost its biggest hometown fan. Visitation for Rick will be held 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, January 3, 2012 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. It is the wish of Rick's family that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Alcoholics Anonymous, 814 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN 46615.
