ANTHONY R. "TONY" JACKSON

WESTFIELD - Mr. Anthony Rochelle "Tony" Jackson, 45, who resided in Westfield, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2007, in Riverview Hospital, Noblesville, Indiana. On December 7, 1961, in South Bend, Anthony was born to the union of Henry R. and Mary F. (O'Neal) Jackson. Anthony, affectionately known as "Stone Wall Jackson," was a member of the Washington High School football team and graduated in 1980. He also attended Snow University in Etah, Utah.

In Wynne, Arkansas, he married Phyllis Jones on January 3, 2005. Anthony's employment career included working as a truck driver for four years, Pact/Allied for two years, and retiring in 2002 from the Housing Authority. He was a member of the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis and a former member of Unity in God through Christ, where he served on the Trustee Board. He was a loving son, brother, father and husband, and also was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Phyllis Jackson of Westfield, IN; two daughters, Jadyn Dyamond Jackson of Elkhart, IN, and Erika Dudley of West Lafayette, IN; three sons, Shanin Brown and Jordan Williams, both of Elkhart, IN, and Bryant Dudley of West Lafayette, IN; his mother, Mary Jackson of South Bend; a sister, Consuela (Dave) Davis of Wildwood, MO; a brother, Bishop Rosco (Victoria) Jackson of South Bend, IN; a special cousin, Elder John (Gayle) Wilson of South Bend, IN; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Vinnie Jones of Wynne, AR; brother-in-law, Tony Jones of Memphis, TN; the mother of his children, Denise Six-Curry, Elkhart, IN; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

His father, Henry R. Jackson, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, in Elizabeth Memorial COGIC, with Bishop Rosco Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in Alford's Mortuary to which arrangements have been entrusted. Messages of sympathy may be e-mailed to alfordsmortuary@comcast.net.
