Loretta V. (Zmudzinski) Kosinski

SOUTH BEND — Loretta V. Kosinski, 65, of Sussex Drive, died at 4:10 p.m. Sunday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Kosinski was born May 7, 1930, in South Bend. On Aug. 11, 1951, in South Bend, as Loretta Zmudzinski, she married A. Donald Kosinski. He survives with a daughter, Alane Denise Phelps of Monticello, Ill.; a son, Alan David of Martinsville, Ind.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Clementine Deranek of South Bend and Evelyne Cyrier of Mishawaka; and a brother, Joseph B. Smudey of Niles. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where the Altar Rosary Society will say a rosary, at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
