EUGENE W. MANUSZAK

SOUTH BEND - Eugene W. Manuszak, 81, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Carrie (Dombek) Manuszak. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores (Molnar) Manuszak; sons, Michael Manuszak of Apex, NC, and Mark (Lorrie) Manuszak of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Jessica of NC and Thompson, Claire and Ethan of IN.

Eugene graduated from Washington High School in 1948 in South Bend, IN, and from the University of Dayton with an Associate Degree.

He retired as an Assistant Branch Chief from PME Lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and was a charter member of St. Helen Catholic Church where he helped coach football for eight years. He especially loved his grandchildren and the Cleveland Browns.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010, in St. Helen Catholic Church, 605 Granville Place, Dayton, Ohio, with graveside services following at 12 noon at the Dayton National Cemetery.
