SOUTH BEND -- Eugene W. Andert Sr., 67, of Miami Street, died Tuesday in his home. He is survived by his wife, Ruth A.; two daughters, Karen L. Smith of Lafayette, Ind., and Nancy Simon of White Lake, Mich.; two sons, Eugene W. Jr. of Fort Wayne and Gary of South Bend; and two brothers, Joseph of Edwardsburg and Louis J. of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
