SOUTH BEND — Haywood Alexander Jr., 70, of Riverside, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in Riverside Community Hospital, Calif. Survivors include two sons, Patrick Fox of San Diego and Cedric Jackson; three sisters, Helen Allen and Vermadine Moore, both of South Bend, and LaVerne Smith of Cleveland; and three brothers, Eugene A. of West Covina, Calif., James E. of South Bend and Sonny Herman of Centerfield, Ga.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Funeral Home, Riverside, where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
