SOUTH BEND - Stanley P. Wills, 84, passed away at 2:55 am, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in his residence surrounded by his family. Stanley was born August 20, 1928 in South Bend to the late Peter and Veronica Wilczynski. Stanley is also preceded in death by brother, Leo; and sisters, Helen, Eleanor, Loretta and Wanda.
On May 11, 1957 in South Bend, Stanley married his loving spouse, Shirley (Przybysz) Wills; she survives along with daughter, Sue Ferraro of South Bend; son, Dale (Cathlyn) Wills of Edwardsburg, MI; grandchildren, Michael (Lauren) Ferraro of Sacramento, CA and Danielle Ferraro of Chicago, IL; and sisters, Angela Chodzinski of South Bend and Gertrude Zakrocki of St. Augustine, FL.
Stanley honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Stanley was a parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Matthew, he worked at Bendix as an Accountant and retired from the U.S. Postal Service as an Accountant. He was a member of the ZB Falcon and PNA. He loved to travel, gardening, bird watching, and most of all Stanley loved spending time with his family.
Visitation for Stanley will be held 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Rd., where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 27, 2012. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN 46637, or to the Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Heart and Vascular Center, 615 N.
