Evelyn Marie (Vaghy) Overholser

Evelyn Marie Overholser, 50, of 429 White Oak Drive, Mishawaka, died at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday In Memoriat Hospital after a long illness. She was born on July 6, 1929; in South Bend, and was a lifetime area resident. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Ann and Mary Kay and a son, James S., all at home; a brother, Stephen F. Vaghy Jr. of Redford, Mich.: and her mother, Mrs. Stephen Vaghy Sr. of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Monica's Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Rev. Charles Conley, assistant pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. There will be no visitation, and the family requests no flowers. The Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Overholser, a former Studebaker Corp. employee, was employed the past eight years by State Farm Insurance, and was a member of St. Monica's parish and the Studebaker Mary Ann Club.
