SOUTH BEND — Betty J.  Robakowski, 69, of South Carlisle  Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 3  p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, in her  residence.  She was born on Dec. 10, 1928, in South Bend, and had lived in this area all her life. She was employed by Rose Fuel and Materials, Inc. 

On Oct. 2, 1948, in South Bend, as Betty J. Szocinski, she married Harry Robakowski, who survives.  She is also survived by three daughters, Sandy Robakowski of California, Cindy (Pat) Ryan of South Bend and Shari (Emie) Snider of Osceola, Ind.; a son, Larry (Debbie) Robakowski of Paisley, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and by three sisters, Nancy Fugate of Granger, Ind., Pat Criswell of New Regal, Ohio, and Rita Holman of Mishawaka, Ind.

Mrs. Robakowskl was a member of the Polish National Alliance Lodge No. 83.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m and 6 to 8 p m. today in the St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Services will be held at 11 a.m on Friday in the funeral home. Cremation will take place.
