Walter Peter Skandis

SOUTH BEND--Walter P. Skandis , 69, of Bronson, Mich., formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo.

Survivors include his wife, Rose; two daughters, Diane Hedgcock and Linda Weber, both of Bronson; and two sisters, Dorothy Radecki and Alice Benninghoff, both of South Bend.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. (Michigan time) Monday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Bronson. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kolcz Funeral Home, Bronson, where a rosary will be said at 4 p.m.
