Donald Rene Schoonaert

From the SOUTH BEND (IN) TRIBUNE, June 7, 1964:

Canadian police Saturday recovered the body of Donald Schoonaert, 35, of 910 Sylvan Lane, from the English River in Ontario. Schoonaert, a partner in Alexanian Brothers, a carpet cleaning firm at 421 S. Eddy St., was drowned in the river May 21 while on a fishing trip 35 miles north of Ignace, Ont.

Surviving are his wife Jeanne, two sons at home, Dean and Gary, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Rene Schoonaert, and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Emma DeLee, all of South Bend.
