Edward E. Prusinski

Edward E. Prusinski, 58, of 1615 S. Nash St., died at 7:45 p.m. Mon-day in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Prusinski retired in 1984 from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years' service. He was born July 19, 1928, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Nov. 22, 1956, in South Bend, he married Mary Ann Rogozinski, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah and Susan, both at home; three sons, Edward Jr. of Mishawaka, Larry of Denver and Ronald of Indianapolis; and his mother, Nora Prusinski of South Bend. 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thurs-day in St. Casimir's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. by the parish, Married Men's Club, Holy Name Society and Ushers Club, all of the church. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3194, Married Men's Club, Ushers Club and Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Ava Maria Council 5521, German Club Disabled Foreign Veterans, National Association of Letter Carriers, and a member and past president of the board of directors of St. Joseph Funeral Home and St. Joseph Cemetery.

He was a veteran of the Korean War. Memorial contributions may be made to the church
