Friends of Albert Vrient, 45, of 306 E. Borley Ave., who died Saturday morning, may call in the DeVos Funeral Chapel after 4 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Monica's Church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Leo A. Hoffmann, pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Mr. Vrient was born in South Bend. Sept. 23, 1921 and came to Mishawaka to reside 14 years ago.

He married Emma Jane Rodgers in Sacred Heart Church, South Bend, July 4, 1947. Mr. Vrient was a fireman in the power house of Uniroyal, Inc. Surviving are his widow; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baziel Vrient, of South Bend, and a son, Baziel Vrient, at home. Mr. Vrient was a veteran of World War II and a member of Post 360 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The rosary will be recited in the funeral chapel at 8 p.m. Monday.
