Stanley A. Rzepka, 77, of South Dundee Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 3:47 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, in Hospice House. He was born on Oct. 5, 1920, in East Chicago, Ind., and lived in this area for 75 years. He retired from RACO. Mr. Rzepka was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Veronica (Mucha) Rzepka; and by two brothers, Edward Zepka and Joseph Rzepka.

On April 10, 1948, in South Bend, he married Janet Moryl, who survives. He is also survived by a son, Douglas J. Rzepka of Wheeling, Ill.; two grandchildren, Todd D. Rzepka and Allison L. Rzepka, both of Arlington Heights, III.; a sister, Helen Szilagyi of Mill Creek, Ind.; and by a brother, Walter Rzepka of South Bend.

Mr. Rzepka was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, the St. Cecilia Choir of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, St. Joseph Young Men's Society, American Legion Pulaski Post 357, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6, and was a World War II Army veteran. He was also a member of the George Kurdys Band.

Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Garden of Love Mausoleum in the St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Adalbert Catholic Church Restoration Fund, 2420 W. Huron Street, South Bend, IN 46619; or to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
