Edward Powicki

SOUTH BEND — Edward Powicki, 71, of 2021 Prairie Ave., died at 11 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Powicki retired from Mastic Corp. He was horn June 22, 1921, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

He is survived by a sister, Blanche VanSlayger of Ault, Colo. He was a veteran of World War II.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. St. Joseph Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
