Anthony M. “Tony” Kuhar

SOUTH BEND - Anthony M. "Tony" Kuhar, 87, passed away at 1:06 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2010, in Memorial Hospital. Tony was born on May 31, 1922, in South Bend, to Martin and Mary (Miholich) Kuhar. 

He was employed by Studebaker, Burcliff Industries and retired from State Tool. Mr. Kuhar was a World War II Army veteran, a member of American Legion 357 and St. Jude Catholic Church.

On October 19, 1946, in South Bend, he married the former Olga Horvath, who survives along with a daughter, Mary Ann (Richard) Pishnoff of Osceola, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by a sister, Veronica Jerebic, and three brothers, Stephen "Steve" Kuhar, Joseph S. Kuhar and Frank Kuhar.
