Helen M. (Grunwald) Hildebrand

SOUTH BEND - Helen M. Hildebrand, 87, of South Bend, Indiana passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009, in her home. Helen was born January 22, 1922, in South Bend, Indiana. On July 18, 1942, Helen married Robert G. Hildebrand who preceded her in death on April 28, 2006.

Surviving are children, Pamela A. Block of South Bend, Louise M. Hildebrand of New York, New York, Alan T. Hildebrand of Granger, and James R. Hildebrand of New Orleans, Louisiana. A sister, Margaret Grunwald White and brothers Joseph and Tony Grunwald all preceded her in death.

Helen was a very loving and caring person with a strong devotion to God. She loved to
watch and feed the wildlife on the grounds of her home.
