Janet Marie (Hubler) Holmer

Janet Marie Holmer, 68, of South Bend passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in Mishawaka.
Janet was born December 6, 1953 in South Bend, to the late Robert & Helen (Kitt) Hubler. She is preceded in death by a niece, Michelle Shafer.

Left to cherish the memory of Janet is her loving husband of 49 years, Glenn Holmer; their son, Robert Holmer; sisters, Christina Shafer and Kim Bjorkland; brother-in-law, Wayne (Cheryl) Holmer; nieces, Megan (Mike) Conners and Jessica Bjorkland; nephews, Wayne (Tammy) Holmer, Jr., Tom (Kimberly) Holmer, Rick Shafer (Melissa), and Nick Bjorkland; great-nephews & nieces, Isaiah, Bella, Chloe, Nate, Abol, Lily, Ashlee, Tyler, Kaley.

Janet enjoyed knitting, crocheting, word searches, listening to music, playing bingo, shopping, especially for shoes, bowling, and occasionally going to the Casino.  She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church, and worked for Holy Cross as the head cook for many years.  Janet had a great sense of humor and was  sweet, kind and caring.  She touched many of ours lives; family, friends, and coworkers. Janet made our lives and world a better place and will be missed tremendously by all.  Rest in peace sweet Janet, you will remain in our hearts
