SOUTH BEND - William J. Gleva, Sr., 60, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013, in Memorial Hospital. Bill was born December 9, 1952, in South Bend, to the late John and Lorraine (Haas) Gleva.
On July 27, 1974, in South Bend, Bill married Sue (Marks) Gleva, who survives along with their children, William J. Gleva II of South Bend and Deborah M. Gleva (Adam Hartung) of Goshen; sister, Sondra D. (Timothy) Edwards of South Bend; granddaughters, Catherine Gleva, Rae Anna Gleva and Shelby Gleva-Hartung; and loving companion, Jake.
Bill was a self-employed truck driver. He loved to restore and drive classic automobiles, riding motorcycles, telling stories and Facebook. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Visitation for Bill will be 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 6:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed towards the Center for Hospice, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
