Ronald J. De Kerr, 51, of Hidden Lakes Drive, Mishawaka, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 30, in his residence.

On Nov. 7, 1953, Ron was born in South Bend to August and Lillian (Cieniewski) De Kerr, who have both preceded him in death.

On Oct. 4, 1997, in Mishawaka, Ron married Lisa (Osborn) Wheaton, who survives. Ron is also survived by sons, Jason (Melissa) DeKerr of Mishawaka and Dominic De Kerr of South Bend; daughters, Danielle Wheaton and Alexandra Wheaton, both of New Carlisle; a brother, Blaine De Kerr of South Bend; a niece, Lauren De Kerr of South Bend; and nephew, Zachary Goraczewski and niece, Logan Goraczewski, both of Jacksonville, Fla.

Ron was a lifelong resident of South Bend and worked as a mill room operator for Monaco Coach. He was a member of Sumption Prairie United Methodist Church. Ron was an avid sports fan. If he wasn't out playing golf, you could always find him watching a game on TV.

Family and friends may call on Friday, December 3, 2004, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, from 10 a.m. until noon. Services will be on Friday, December 3, 2004, at noon in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sumption Prairie United Methodist Church; or to Hospice House of St. Joseph County.
