Richard Dale Lenczowski
Richard Dale Lenczowski, 86, of Mint Hill, NC, passed away on April 10th, 2024.
Richard was born in South Bend, IN, on November 10, 1937 to Bernard Lenczowski and Ruth Lello Lenczowski. Richard graduated from Washington High School in 1955 followed by 4 years in the US Army. Shortly thereafter he married is wife of 63 years Mollie Nash. Richard had a lengthy career in transportation taking his family to NC, FL, and TN before he and Mollie settled in Mint Hill, NC.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Mollie Lenczowski, his daughter Christy Lenczowski, of Memphis TN, and is predeceased by his son Timothy Lenczowski of Matthews, NC. He is also survived by his sisters Barbara and Joyce Lenczowski of South Bend, IN and his brother Raymond Lenczowski and his wife Janice of Mansfield, OH and their loving families. Also he is survived by his sister-in-law Peggy Nash of South Bend IN.
A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at McEwen Funeral Home of Mint Hill NC on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Levine Senior Center in Matthews NC where Richard volunteered for several years.
