SOUTH BEND - Linda L. Pianstki, 68, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014, in her sister Diana's home. Linda was born Feb. 7, 1946, in South Bend, to the late Ernest and Bernice (Zmudzinski) Wasikowski.

Linda married Eugene Pianstki; he preceded her in death in 2001. Linda was also preceded in death by a son, Bradley Pianstki in 2008.

Survivors of Linda include her daughter, Beth Gibson of South Bend; a grandson, Blake; sisters, Diana Alexander of Lebanon and Marcia Mikolajewski of Mishawaka; nine nieces and nephews; and several cousins.

Linda retired from South Bend Orthopedics. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Family meant everything to Linda; she adored her grandson, Blake; he was the twinkle in her eyes.

Visitation for Linda will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, April 28, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
