Dale J. Kozlowski
Dale J. Kozlowski, 79, of Mishawaka passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Dale was born in South Bend, IN on December 21, 1943, to the late Joseph and Esther (Wanrzyniak) Kozlowski. Dale was preceded in death by his wives, Margaret (Labis) Kozlowski and Heidi Galloway. Dale is survived by his stepchildren, Brenda (Robert Lowry) Adams, Matthew (Melisa) Hertel, and Jason (Amanda) Hertel; grandchildren, Derrick Adams, Ryan (Melissa) Adams, Laine, Lilli, Louisa, Matheson and Michael Hertel, Jordan and Brittany Brown, Aidan, Riley, and Evan Hertel; great grandchildren, Dominic Quinlen, Wesley, Ella, and Sophie Adams; and his sister, Sharon Sanders.
Dale is a graduate of Washington High School and a Veteran of the United States Army. Dale worked for and retired from Coca-Cola. In his spare time he played many sports including bowling, softball, and golf. He also enjoyed going to breakfast with friends. He was a longtime friend and member of Club 15. Dale loved his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He always greeted you with a smile and a witty comment, both of which will be greatly missed.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and transport driver at Creekside Village.
Military graveside service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Immediately following these services will be a Celebration of Life at Club 15, 415 W. Jefferson Blvd, IN 46545, this will last until 2:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be made in Dale’s memory to Riverbend Cancer Services.
