SOUTH BEND — Edward A. Olczak Jr., 50, of He!men Road, died Friday at 11:30 a.m. Friday in his home. He retired from Bendix Corp. after 18 years of service. He was born Nov. 24, 1941, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Olczak and Kelly Puckett, both of Rochester; a son, Steven of Mishawaka; a grandchild; his father, Edward A. Olczak Sr. of South Bend; and two sisters, Marcia Gregg of Cassopolis and Cynthia Beeman of Indianapolis.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post 357.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Zahoran Funeral Home.
