Douglas Harland Holloway

April 21, 1945 ~ May 19, 2024 (age 79)

Douglas Harland Holloway, 79, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away to be with our Lord on May 19, 2024.

Douglas was born in South Bend Indiana.  Beloved son of Lucy “Elaine” and Harland P. Holloway.  He grew up with his cousins Arvid Krienke and Merwin Krienke in South Bend, Indiana and they were like brothers to him.  He is survived by a son, Dustin.

He was a painter, and an avid car enthusiast, and loved the outdoors, especially swimming and sitting in the sunshine. He was known for his love for the Lord Jesus, his generous heart, and love for others.  Doug was a very active member in his local church.   

Services will be led by Pastor Oscar Banks at Palm Lake Christian Church at 5401 22nd Ave. St. Petersburg, FL, 33710. Douglas will be buried at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Doug may be made to Palm Lake Christian Church.
