Christine Ann (Ciula) Danner

Christine Ann Danner, 74, passed away Sunday, December 31st, 2023 in her home surrounded by family.

Christine was born in South Bend to John and Eunice (Backus) Ciula. On March 1st, 1975 she married Bob Danner who survives along with their daughter Kalyca (Danner) Paczkowski, their son Che Danner, their two grandsons Isaac Paczkowski and Che J. Danner Jr. and her sister Mary R. Erickson.

Chris worked as a special education administrator for 28 years at Dickinson Middle School. She was a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington where she received her BA, and was a proud sister of the Alpha Phi sorority. Chris was a long-time member of the South Bend Museum of Art, and a loyal fan of Notre Dame Football. Her family and loved ones will always remember her through all of the beautiful pottery she made and the memories she created from the wonderful Birthday, Halloween and Christmas parties she had.

We were blessed to hold your hands as you took your final breaths, It broke our hearts to lose you though we know you have not left, But our pain is eased knowing you were met with open arms and loving grins, By your loved ones gone before you because YOUR party now begins.
