Gary S. Koszyk

SOUTH BEND - Gary S. Koszyk, 68, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at his home.

Gary was born December 9, 1949 in South Bend to the late John and Pauline (Ptak) Koszyk.

Survivors of Gary include his brother, Stephen (Anne) Koszyk of Niles, MI; sister, Nancy (Robert) Leszczynski of Fort Wayne, IN; and nieces & nephews, John, Jennifer (Eric), Aaron, Stephanie, and Emily.

Gary honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Martins Super Market and the Mastic Corporation for many years. Gary was a devout Catholic. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Gary enjoyed going to local community picnics in the summer and family events.

Visitation for Gary will be held 2:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday, July 8, 2018 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. with a Rosary to be prayed at 3:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Monday, July 9, 2018 in Holy Family Catholic Church with a 1 hour visitation prior in the Msgr. Galic room at the church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Holy Family Catholic Church, 56405 Mayflower Rd., South Bend, Indiana 46619.
