Amarion Hatch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Alford's Mortuary on Sep. 30, 2026.

We sadly announce the passing of Amarion Hatch, who left us too soon on September 5, 2026, just days shy of his 24th birthday. Born on September 8, 2002, in South Bend, Indiana, Amarion was a beacon of light, energy, and love to all who knew him. Amarion's magnetic personality drew people towards him, and his natural ability to make others laugh was a quality that will be missed by all. An aspiring music producer, Amarion was a lover of dance and a prankster at heart, especially when it came to his beloved sister, Arie.

Amarion graduated from Muessel Elementary School and Washington High School, and at the time of his passing, he was pursuing his GED with a goal to further his education in music production. Amarion's work ethic was as impressive as his sense of humor. He took on various jobs including factory work at Dexter Axle and serving at Wings Etc. Yet, what mattered most to Amarion was his family and his music. He took immense pride in being a father and cherished the bond he shared with his brothers, Chonsie Wallace, Farod Williams, and Bryant Neal, with whom he loved making music.

Amarion's absence will be deeply felt by his surviving family members: his mother, Amanda Neal (Jared Nelson); his father, Farod Williams; his son, Amarion Brownlee-Hatch, his son's mother Tramia Brownlee; his siblings, Arieanna Williams, Tatyanna Hawkins, Elexus Carver, Alyiah Hawkins, Mar'queria Brownlee, Da'Coldest Brownlee, Bryant Neal, Austen Kallas, Farod Williams, Chonsie Wallace, Keon, Chris, Ricky, Oshaun, Terry, Quannie, Jzy-caeydonn Tanner, Howard, Junior; his aunts and uncles, Nicole Williams, Connie Linton, Brittney Jones, Michelle Neal, Donna Neal, Bryant Hunt, Martin Neal, Walter Neal, Myles Linton, and Dwight Neal, his girlfriend Micayla Tyler, his god mother, Tamelia Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Mark Hatch; his grandmother, Vinetta Neal; his great-grandmother, Melbirda Neal; his grandfather, Jerome Williams; his stepbrother, Frederick Williams; and his aunt and uncle, Jacquline Barner and Willie Neal Jr.

A Homegoing Celebration for Amarion will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM EDT at Alford's Mortuary, 1222 Napier Street, South Bend, Indiana, 46601. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Amarion to the memorial page, as we celebrate and remember his captivating spirit and the joy he brought into our lives.
