John L. Elledge, , 31, of 216 N. Spring, Mishawaka, died Saturday in St. Joseph Medical Center from injuries suffered in his apartment on May 5.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home were friends may call until 9 p.m. today. Rev. Alex Konya, pastor of Mayflower Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
He was an employee of Elcona Foods of Elkhart. He was born on Dec. 11, 1950, in Arkansas and lived in the South Bend area most of his life.
He is survived by a daughter, Lora Lee, at home; a son, Michael Lee, at home; his mother, Mrs. Goldie Elledge of South Bend; five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Berger and Mrs. Reba Sue Grove both of Mishawaka, Miss Doris Elledge, Miss Patricia Elledge and Mrs. Renda Ballew all of South Bend; and three brothers, William J. Sr. of South Bend, LeRoy of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Vondus of Pocahontas, Ark.
He was a 1969 graduate of Washington High School.
