Jeanann M. (Borton) Carrington

July 22, 1967 ~ September 28, 2021 (age 54)

Jeanann M. Carrington, 54, passed away at 11:52am on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in her Plymouth home. Jeanann was born on July 22, 1967, in South Bend to the late James and Linda (Whitmer) Borton.

Jeanann is survived by her children, Winston Carrington, and Sierra Carrington; grandchildren, Charles and Eric Neidlinger; sisters, Mary (Ralph) Wise and Louann (Larry) Etherton; brothers, Matthew (Donita) Borton, John Borton, and Ray Borton; and lots of nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. 

Jeanann attended Green school and a few years at Washington High School.  She was a resident of North Liberty most of her life and in her later years, moved to Plymouth. She worked at Miller’s Merry Manor in Walkerton,  Hacienda in South Bend, then on to Nisco for 26 years and then on to other factory jobs. Jeanann liked taking her family and friends along to gather rocks to do landscaping in her yard. She liked to take in wounded or stray animals and loved having her cats and dogs around to keep her company. She liked planting flowers and crocheting. She enjoyed hanging around with family and friends and attended Church of the Brethren N.L.

Visitation will be 4-6pm on Friday, October 8, 2021, in Palmer Funeral Home – North Liberty Chapel. Memorial Service will be at 10am on Saturday, October 9, 2021, in North Liberty Church of the Brethren, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
