Anika Marie Henderson

April 22, 2004 ~ November 10, 2021 (age 17)

Anika Marie Henderson, 17, was embraced by the Lord on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.  She was a beloved daughter and sister.  She was born on April 22, 2004 in South Bend, IN to Jessika Henderson and Frederic Henderson, both of whom survive.

Also surviving are her siblings, Talasya, Tre, Alana, Alijah, Ali, Tyrie, Alexis, Aldreona, Aldreon, Ayanna, Alandis, Avree, and Allee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. 

Anika was in her senior year at Washington High School.  She was working and just received her welder certification.  Anika loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.  She was loyal to all that had a relationship with her and loved her family dearly.  You wouldn’t catch her without her lip gloss and lashes…period!  Anika was an entrepreneur and had plans for her future to become an ultrasound technician.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Palmer Funeral Home--Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Rd., South Bend, IN. Rev. Rickardo Taylor, Sr., of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, will officiate.
