Sherrell Denise Davis

Jan. 16, 1964 – March 9, 2004

Ms. Sherrell Denise Davis, 40, loving mother, daughter and sister of Belle Vista, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, March 9, at 12:30 a.m. in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

Sherrell was born to Frank and Ethel (Noble) Davis on Jan.16, 1964, in Chicago, Ill. Coming from Chicago, she moved to South Bend over 25 years ago. She graduated from Washington High School in 1983. She was employed with the South Bend Community School Corporation for seven years as a Para Professional, retiring in 2003.

Loving family members who survive include three daughters, Brittany Redding, Shannon Winston and Nicole Hockaday; her parents, Frank and Ethel Davis; three sisters, Pamela (John) Coleman and Kelly (Andrew) Howard, all of South Bend;Tanya (Willard) Terry of Lawton, Okla.; a brother, Harold (Phyllis) Davis of Atlanta, Ga.; along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon today, March 13, in Bethlehem Baptist Church. Visitation will take place one-hour prior to service in the church. Arrangements have been entrusted with Alford’s Mortuary
