Gerald D. (Gerry) Ross

Gerald Duane Ross, 21, of 56133 N. Orchid Road, died at 11:50 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital of gunshot wounds suffered earlier that night. He had attended Washington High School.

Born on Nov. 27, 1958, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life. He is survived by his parents, Doris and Alfred Ross, with whom he resided; a son, Gerald Duane Ross Jr., of. South Bend; two sisters, Barbara Denise and Dona Marie, both at home; two brothers, Alfred Jr. and Jeffrey, both at home, and his maternal grandfather, John Wells, of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Greater Friendship Baptist Church. Rev. Dave S. Davis, pastor, will officiate. Burial Friends will be in call Highland Cemetery. may to 9 p.m. Thursday in Clark's Funeral Chapel
