Kimberly Diane Parker, a cherished sister, friend, and respected community member, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in South Bend. Born on November 5, 1965, to the late Van Moore and Pauline (Green) Sales, Kimberly's zest for life and her unwavering kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
Kimberly grew up in a bustling household, surrounded by the love and laughter of her siblings. Although she was preceded in death by her sisters Randora Sales, and Kim Moore, her spirit will be fondly remembered and carried on by her surviving siblings: Angelia (Anthony) Williams of South Bend; Marla Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers Vance Moore of South Bend, Andre Moore of Indianapolis, Richard Sales, and Randy Sales, all of South Bend IN. Each of them will cherish the memories of Kimberly's generous heart and infectious smile.
A proud graduate of Washington High School, Kimberly went on to serve her community with dedication as a bus driver. Her career spanned many years, during which she safely transported countless school children and public transit passengers to their destinations. Kimberly later moved to Maddison TN., where she continued as a driver for special needs children. Her presence behind the wheel was a reassuring sight to many, and her commitment to safety and service earned her the respect and appreciation of the community.
In her personal life, Kimberly was a beacon of joy and positivity. She had an uncanny ability to uplift those around her, and her laughter was a remedy to any sorrow. Her legacy is one of love, service, and an unwavering commitment to her family and friends.
As we bid farewell to Kimberly Diane Parker, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and grace. Her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her, and her impact on the world will be felt for years to come. Kimberly's journey through life was a testament to the power of kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Palmer Funeral Home - West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend.
