Kimberly June (Millsaps) Ross
June 3, 1960 ~ October 7, 2025 (age 65)
Kimberly June Ross, born on June 3, 1960, in South Bend, IN, was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and grandmother. Better known as Kimberly, she was a pillar of strength and a beacon of joy to all who knew her. She was a woman who wore many hats but did so with grace, humility, and unwavering faith.
Kimberly was proud of her education, graduating from Washington High School in South Bend, Indiana in 1979 and receiving an Associates Degree from Ivy Tech Community College in 1981. Her journey through life was marked by her dedication to her work and her faith. Among her many accomplishments, Kimberly worked diligently as a clerk at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center for 35 years, earning her well-deserved retirement. Her commitment to her work was only surpassed by her devotion to her faith. Kimberly served as the Church Mother of Elizabeth Memorial Church in South Bend, Indiana, and later the Hope Worship Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a devout woman, always leading by example and instilling strong Christian values in her children and grandchildren.
Kimberly's legacy includes her cherished husband of 27 years, Thomas Ross Jr., her children Tre'Stine Duncan, Keara Brown, Thomas Ross III, Timothy Ross, Toron Ross, Tavaurus Ross and Taharbre Ross, and Dontrell Newman, her dear siblings Yolanda Millsaps, Sharon Scott, Steven A. (Cyneatha) Millsaps, and Ronald Scott and her aunts Jane Atkins and Sharon Atkins. She also leaves behind sister- in laws, Louise Millsaps, Veronica Ross, Takisha Ross and Mildred Ross. Kimberly was also blessed with 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, who were the joy of her life.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James Sr. and Anna Millsaps, her brother James Jr., and her sister Beverly Millsaps. Her love, guidance, and memories will forever be cherished by her adoring family and friends. Kimberly's life and spirit were celebrated on October 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pentecostal Cathedral COGIC in South Bend, Indiana.
