Jeffery L. Fleming, Sr., 67, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away on June 19, 2025. Born in South Bend, IN, Jeffery lived his life with a generous heart and a joyful spirit. He never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need.
Jeffery is survived by his devoted wife, Gina Fleming; his children, Jeffery Jr. (Aja), Scott, Joshua (Cherise), Jeremiah; daughter/neices, Zametra (Fred) and Chrystal; nephews/brother, Shawn (Jennifer) and George (Tiffany) and his cherished grandchildren, Jaylen, Jaylah, Reginald, Sky, Kaymin, Jayson, Chloe, Seth, and Makayla. He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Jah'daya and Khari Amirah. Jeffery's brother, Kenneth Fleming, Sr. (Teretha) and sister-in-law Claudell Mitchell (James), also survives him, along with many other family members and friends who will carry forward his memory with love.
A celebration of Jeffery's life and interment will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery, 2257 Portage Ave, South Bend, IN 46616. All who knew and loved Jeffery are invited to join in honoring his remarkable life. Local arrangements were entrusted with Alford's Mortuary Inc.
