was a teacher at Washington High School from 1936 to 1943; taught at Adams High School from 1945 until 1956, where he served as assistant principal until 1965; was principal at LaSalle High School from 1965 to 1971 and was supervisor of pupil services and math coordinator for the South Bend Community School Corp. from 1971 until his retirement in 1977.
